"The Andrews Sisters"

The mask in this piece is made from painted chipboard that has been diecut and tabbed together. The "sisters" are discarded dolls that have been drawn on with colored markers. The box's plywood base is hand painted and then overlayed with another offset plywood shape. Other materials include bone and clay beads, cut iron nails, turned dowels and copper plumbing fixtures. The containing box is hand painted as are the surround "fins" and wooden globes.

"God and Monsters"

The main mask is sheet aluminum riveted to a wooden base. It has been inscribed with fine flowing lines. The mouth opening is a garbage disposal flange from which protrudes a painted curtain rod finial. The box base is hand painted plywood overlayed with painted canvas and one-quarter inch wooden stock. Upholstery rivets surround this canvas area. The "monsters" in the foreground are toy rubber dolls. The box's interior surfaces are covered with strips cut from vintage LP covers. The exterior has been painted metallic silver and stenciled with a design in black. Copper tubing is surface mounted around the outer perimeter, three quarter's of an inch back from the leading edge.

"Chairman of the Board"

The central mask is diecut painted cardboard and utilizes toilet paper tubes for the eye stalks. These eye stalks are then pierced with coat hanger segments tipped with handmade beads. The crown on the mask is an old CD and the mouth is backed by brass speaker grille. The plywood base has hand marbled paper mounted on it upon which more speaker grille has been offset. Just under the mask level is mounted a discarded iron heater element with copper tubing attached to it. Other materials include plastic toy figures, bone and clay beads, fender washers, a painted doll head and metal turnbuckles. The containg box has been drawn on overall with marker and then varnished. The outer "fins" are painted and drawn on with pastel crayon.
